A Back-to-School basket raffle will also take place offering school supplies and local business coupons. Each basket will contain supplies such as backpacks, pencils, paper, glue, markers, colored pencils, scissors, etc. There will be two baskets, one for each day. Raffle tickets are available online and at the clinic available when you check-in.

MVA submitted grant applications for Increase Demand for Services funding (IDS), Capital Improvement Program funding (CIP), and Facility Investment Program funding (FIP).

  • MVA recieved the IDS grant which was used for increasing provider and nursing staff.
  • MVA recieved the CIP grant which was used to build a new administration wing, construct a new employee parking lot, and to build an Acute Care access point in the MVA Fairmont Clinic. This grant also has been used to upgrade infortmation technology to enable more efficient management of documents and patient records.

  • NCQA Level II Recognition status for Physician Practice Connections - Patient Centered Medical Home (PPC-PCMH) Decemeber 2010-December 2013.
